Yodfat Engineers – who are we?
Yodfat Engineers Ltd , Israel is an engineering company, specialized in detailed physical design of water and wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure.
Yodfat Engineers keeps developing its knowledge of water treatment, over a wide range of applications: municipal & industrial waste water, agricultural water and effluent reuse, potable water and removal of As & F, desalination of brackish and sea water, ultra pure water etc.
The company carries out process simulations, hydraulic design, civil, electro-mechanical electrical and computerized control design, technical project supervision and management of operation and maintenance.
Yodfat Engineers broadened it's scope to the execution of feasibility studies, business plans and introduction of large environmental projects such as: (1) household solid waste baling, long distance transportation, bale filling and solid waste conversion to energy (2) bio diesel ethanol and palm oil production – conversion into energy (3) recycling of hazardous liquid waste into gas via plasma (4) CO2 capturing via mass production of algae.
Yodfat Engineers staff enlarges it's own capabilities using a group of prominent professional associates on as needed basis ( Tom Schofield – until a few years ago head of process in Severn Trent Water UK, Dr David Thomas (former process modeling engineer for Yorkshire Water and Thames Water and currently with Severn Trent Water Engineering), Simon Binyon (currently ARL Consulting in the UK and former industrial wastewater specialist for Hyder UK).
Yodfat has also an ongoing collaboration relationship with Envirolink North West UK, allowing access to a large base of some 160 world leading expert companies of this part of England.
Yodfat Engineers Ltd specialized working for EPC contractors / investing financial groups (private or public), water utility companies, government – municipalities and private entrepreneurs, in Israel as well as internationally.
Amongst the company's most appreciated professional associations, is Yodfat's collaboration with Severn Trent Water of the UK, with a track record of 14 years.
Yodfat Engineers maintains collaboration relationships, on project by project basis with world leading professionals such as: Kema Netherlands, EarthTech UK/Canada, Black & Veatch UK Golder USA, Halliburton Kellog Brown & Root USA, Abengoa Group- Befesa Spain, Freyssinet France, Scott Wilson (tunneling) and others.

Yodfat Engineers, has started activities in People's Republic of China, working in partnership with an important Beijing company (Asia Group) and acts as its technical director since the beginning of 2006.Amongst our new projects in China: Yulin WWTP of 110,000 m3/d. Heqiao WWTP 10,000 m3/d, As & F removal facilities, fish farms and the related water
treatment, modernization of milking parlors in cowsheds of 2,500 milk cows, ultra pure water & sterilization systems.
Yodfat Engineers has also started a large scale involvement in Bulgaria with Beco Group and a few investing financial groups (from the USA, Austria, Singapore and Israel) in waste water projects , water projects and highways & tunnels infrastructure
Yodfat Engineers has been invited to extend it's Israeli operations, working with Greenwater Group and Mr Alexander Tessler in the Arava region in Israel in waste water projects implementing a combination of activated sludge processes and hydro phonic cultures, to work as the water, irrigation, drainage consultant for a new golf resort hotel in the Arava.
Yodfat Engineers maintains it's positions with some of the waste water treatment plants designed and operated by us, in Israel, during the last decade (Hadera 30,000 m3/d, Netofa 10,000 m3/d, Beit Shemesh alkali sludge digestion 120t, Lochamey Hagetaot etc).
Yodfat Engineers has been invited to join a R&D project of the EC, led by KEMA Netherlands in regard with CO2 emissions from fossil powered power plants.
Yodfat Engineers is also working as technical director and designer to a new development project in Papoa New Guinea (water, sewage, roads and electricity infrastructure, agriculture etc).
Yodfat Engineers is working as technical leader of a huge project involving household solid waste baling (unsorted) in the east coast of the USA, containerized marine transportation (long distance), bale filling within an environmental restoration and finally, conversion of the bales to energy
Yodfat Engineers has carried out a few complex and high profile civil engineering projects in Israel, such as the Histadrut Rd tunnel in Haifa ( soil freezing for stabilization of the weak soil, with high level groundwater & autofoncage box jacking) and is involved for some years in the Haifa bay, Kerayot bypass Hgwy and the adjacent large drainage canal.
